I would imagine theres been a billion threads about this at this point, but I’m on a time constraint so I’m making a post to check back on later.

After the patch my antivirus (Comodo) tried to isolate the awesomium_process.exe I told it to ignore/not isolate it again. Since then the gem store will not work. I havent fond it listed anywhere in the antivirus as isolated and I also see it running as an active process when I CNTRL/ALT/DELETE.

Any advice?

Yep having the same problem

i’m having the same issue. i restarted the client, then tried restarting the pc. finally tried restarting the router and modem. even cleared the default brower cache. no dice.

Same thing is happening to me right now. This really sucks!

Of course, things like this always happen around new in game content release…ANET, I’d like to spend some of my hard earned wages at your company, but I can’t because it’s broken.

@OP – I don’t think its your antivirus causing the problem, but I could be wrong.

As for the gem store not loading, I am also experiencing this issue since patch. No matter what tab I click (in the gem store) all I get is constant loading scroll

Post hotfix and I still can’t get gemstore to load.

I was having the same problem as well, and was able to find a solution here on the Forums. The user StinVec posts the solution in the second post of the thread:

Though it is for a different glitch with the Gem Store, not only did it completely resolve the problem you are describing that I also was having, but it also cleared up another problem I had been having with slow rez-time for textures in the game.

I followed the above posted directions and the Gem Store will still not load for me. The rest of the functions like the Trading Post appear to be working, but the Gem Store screen will not appear.

I am having the same problem. I can use every other aspect of the menu including buying/selling gems but I just get a perpetually loading gem store. I have noticed that awesomium isn’t running in my process tab when this is happening which is necessary for the gem store and TP to function.

The gem store is also not loading for me. I was able to purchase gems last night and buy some items, but after the patches today it just shows the loading ring. The rest of the tabs of the trading post seem to function just fine. The solutions posted above of deleting the gw2cache directory and/or running as admin did not work for me either.

Same here on all 3 of my computers.

I even tried a system restore and that did not fix the issue. I think this bug is on ANET! I hope the fix it soon. I have money I want to spend…hate to give it to blizzard instead.

I’ve had the same thing since today’s patch. Setting exclusions for AV/firewall did not help, not that I expected them to as I’ve had no need for them for the last year. This one looks to be on Anet.

I deleted the gw2 cache file, I have ran as administrator, closed down GW2, rebooted… all to no avail. Would be nice to get some feedback from Anet on this. I actually would like to buy something but unable too.

Seems to be working now. A guildie had his start working at the time, although he said he had just restarted his PC. I hadn’t done anything and it just started working for me.

I finally got it working by changing the language on the log in screen then after it restarted I changed back to English restarted client again and poof it worked (everything else failed to work)

Mine seems to have randomly started working as well, no change of anything on my end. So a wizard did it.

Mine is working now as well.
