I’ve just noticed that when you’re purchasing gems, the price for me (denmark) is 10 EUR for 800 gems. However, if i choose USA, the price is 10$ for 800 gems.

Is this intentional? And if so, why on earth did you make it more expensive for residents of Europe to purchase gems?

Same crap has been going on for years now in the gaming industry, devs usually just invoke “taxes” and then never talk about it again.

I am guessing you are using the exchange rate (RL) to believe one thing is more valuable than the other?

Even if so there are many more expenses to doing business in most parts of Europe, such as credit card fraud etc… saying “taxes” is a bit of a cop out, “expenses” would be a much better word.

I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to say, but i can inform you that
10$ is 58.28 Danish Kroner
and
10 EUR is 74.4881128 Danish Kroner

That means that europeans pay roughly 3 dollars more for the same amount of gems.

I don’t know if ArenaNet is aware of this fact, but i really hope this gets their attention.
