EDIT: Before reading the following paragraph which, once I thought about it, didn’t actually specifically tell what the bug does I’ll make things clear. Simply put the bug swaps the icon of the item transmuted with the skin (say the boots) with that of a standard boot that you wouldn’t think twice about selling. If needed, I’ll try and get a screen shot of it tomorrow, but for now, it’s 3 am and i’m going to sleep.
Many level 80s in Guild Wars are aware that almost all green items at level 80 are nothing more than vendor trash. However when selling items, the Skins (such as primeval) from the gem store have incorrect icons! This bug is very frustrating now at 3 a.m. as I realize that it’s caused me to vendor a skin! This problem has been around since the beginning of 2013 and now I don’t know what to think. I’m certain that i’m not buying another skin until this is fixed, and even then, maybe not at all. Because honestly I’ll always have one set that is short a pair of boots. I’m not one to through my money away and when I purchase transmutation crystals from the shop only to see a bug has caused me to sell the item I was going to use them on, there’s simply nothing to be said. You created a fail safe from deleting gem store items, why is there no protection against selling them? Karma items can’t be sold to vendors, most likely due to a flag you’ve placed on said items. Why not put such a flag on an item when it is transmuted with a gem store skin, which then persists through future transmutations. Then the item wouldn’t even appear in the vendor window and the entire problem would be solved.
Thank you all for the patience in reading this post,
