Hello,
Recently I noticed that I had 16/17 POI in Gendarran Fields.
I couldn’t find the last one so I searched on the wiki to check out the POI and saw that there where only 16. When I look on youtube I see on their maps 16/16 POI.

Why is it 16/17 by me? Now I can’t get Gendarran Fields 100% completion.

There is a new hidden zone in this area with a new point of interest which will unlock soon with the new sky pirates update. once this happens you’ll be able to visit it and get the new point of interest and complete the Gendarran Fields once again.

I have updated GW2 and I still get glitched away from the POI.

Will this be soon? Ironically, it is the last Point of Interest I need for 100% map completion. Lol, probably the only one in all of Tyria :P

Nope, you’re not alone… It’s the same for me… I’m also waiting for the last POI for 100% map completion :’-(

There is an POI in the south of cliffs of the abyss, is that maybe ? But we don’t go it for the moment :/

I just now got world completion and recieved 2 gifts of exploration even though i have a missing 17th POI in Gendarran fields and my world map says 99%

world map will say 99% even after u get gifts if previous completed maps have added stuff since u last finished it. same thing happened to me. Open your world map up and make sure the % is 100 for every map. if not something new was probs added there. like this POI here

and this POI is still bugged, july patch update? do we have to wait for that ?

I received the gifts of exploration, but no title or symbol by my name yet. That’s the climatic moment in gettin 100% so everyone will see it and can show it off, especially after all the work it took to achieve. Appears we will be waiting til that next update to open things up.

I had the same thing happen to me just now. 100% map completion on all zones, except the one new POI in Gendarran, even got the two Gifts of Exploration. Character Select screen is showing now both 99% and 100% map completion as well. My map even stated 100% Map Completion for Gendarran Fields. A little disappointing since my guild was sitting and waiting as I finished what I thought was the last spot on the map, even held off a week so that others could be online as well. In the past hadn’t players been grandfathered in on things like this?

1st of July apparently the patch will be out, to make the last POI accessible.

Real kittening genius idea to include this in world completion and make it inaccessible. GG.

I haven’t received any exploration gifts, any acknowledgements of almost completing the zone at all. Just the 17th POI taunting me from its unreachable location on the hill… :**(

I just “completed” the zone yesterday, and getting rejected from that point was so demotivating!

I’m still waiting for fix too. Hopefully it’ll be soon, it sucks for you guys that is the last one you need for world map, most be really frustrating

so i cant complete my map for my alt because some genius Add some contest inaccessible for the current build. i really wish to complete my map and get some exp, but i have to wait till july 2? by that time my alt will be 80 >_<

Does anybody know where is it supposed to be? Or in which update will it be available? Pirates is out now and I can’t seem to find it.

I’m in the same boat. Very frustrated over an irresponsible implementation, and disappointed in the the lack of respect/consideration being shown to their customers over correcting their error.

I am also in the same boat. Thought that this would be easy, cracked open a beer, laughed on how easy this was going to be, 100% was finally mine! Nope…two hours later I am here. Oh well. Things could be worse.

I really do believe someone in charge actually rides the short bus and forgot their helmet. Put new content in, screw up players map % and then make them wait a month (at least) before they can actually access it.

Fix this please, waited long enough for map completion.

Same boat. Got my achievement (see attachment) but even after tomorrow’s Genderran Field’s puzzle POI I’ll still be one short of the official 100% (yes, got Chantry of Secrets). NOOOOO idea where to look after tomorrow’s POI in Genderran Fields. No idea why I got the award on the screen but no medal on the account. Frustrating.

What a nice idea of Anet to implement this PoI into the game before we can even access it.

Agreed, most vexing. It would have been better to have the poi added once it can actually be reached.

My friend has world comp except this one poi, he hasn’t gotten his gifts yet either.
I am also going for world comp but at first I delayed it as I thought we’d never get Stonemist (we’re bad at WvW) but I managed to get that yesterday on reset somehow. Now this is making me not want to finish it up, I probably will as I know it won’t be as much of a wait as getting stonemist but still :P

Does ArenaNet even read these posts? This is a long running problem and it took me 4 weeks to get this far in World Completion.

Where the hell that point is? I cannot find it on the map!

WP #17 is still a bug. All the needed information should be avaliable ingame.
