Getting Ridiculous Exp. at Lev 29
I’m glad it’s not just me! I’m level 27 and the XP I’m also getting from both kills and events is dire, the same amounts as you. I’m underlevelled when it comes to moving on to new renown hearts.
Yes. Exp slowly deteriorates from 23~ to 29. After you get to 30 exp gains return to normal.
It has be a bug. Or anet has completely lost the plot.
Solution that does work is to do story for L29 – that races you through the crushingly slow part. If you have done your L20-30 story already then it will be a nasty grind till they fix it.
Hearts seem to give regular amounts of exp, too.
Scratch that. Hearts give an okay amount of exp. It only seemed okay because we were using birthday boosters.
Yes. I am having the same happen to me. As soon as I hit 29, experience went to a crawl. I got 8 experience for a Vista. 100ish for a couple of big events, less for others.

I solved the problem with this solution. I’m fine after getting lev 30.
So, you could do the PS or Hearts if you are experiencing the same problem.
A friend of mine said this too yesterday. He’s lv 27 and gets 2+2 exp for a lv30 mob. wtf?
