Guild Wars 2

So I am a human warrior and on the level 47 quest after you kill the [avoiding spoilers] boss that you fight at the end, I didnt get the quest reward. Usually I have a habit of exiting the instance before selecting a reward, so the screen popped up. I was still running away from those locust swarms so I ended up running outside the instance area before selecting a reward. When I spawned outside on the map, the screen didn’t come back up like it usually does. I didn’t get experience either.

Is there a way to fix this? I was really close to leveling up T.T and I wanted that rifle skin.
I tried a map change and then a relog. Neither worked.

Is the story step still active? What was the step name?

It went to the next step. The step I’m on now is called “Suspicious Activity.” I’m not sure what the previous one was called (the one I am missing reward from). It’s the Hylek quest where the people are getting turned to undead.

Okay thanks. I just noticed that on the wiki page I linked, it says exactly what happened in the walkthrough section. Not sure if this is a bug or if this is intended. My intuition is telling me that it is not intended…
