I’ve noticed that when I’m using the glyph of elementals as an elite skill for my elementalist, for some reason the skill disappears from the skill slot with a little up arrow above it which allows me to select another elite skill. Meaning I’m able to use the glyph of elementals AND any other elite skill I so choose.

Is this happening above ground only or after you go underwater? Since there’s no underwater form of this elite, it has the up arrow show to give you the option of slotting an elite that works underwater. It shouldn’t be letting you essentially swap out the skill while it’s on cooldown O.o

Its strictly on land since you are unable to use glyph of elementals underwater. On a side note, you have a window of time in order to use a second elite. That window is the time it takes for either the elemental to die or time out after 60seconds. I haven’t tried to use the glyph on land then run into water to see if whirlpool is also available. But seeing on how the elemental dies once you go in water, I’d assume the cooldown timer to start right away.

Misunderstood the issue, sorry. Just tested it out and this is definitely bugged/exploitable. Needs a fix.

Glyph of Lesser Elementals surprisingly doesn’t have this issue. Probably because they left the 60 sec cooldown (life) of the elemental showing rather than replacing it with a blank skill slot.

This still occurs as of 08/15/2014. I accidentally found this out today when I was attempting (unsuccessfully of course) to cancel casting Glyph of Elementals by changing to Fiery Greatsword only to find that I could cast that as well.

Glyph of Lesser Elementals does not have this problem.
