Today, I decided to run Goemm’s Lab.
As usual, I went and got the first Attunement, then went to the first gate, to go from Windy to Stormy.
I used Stability to get through the gusts of wind, both from Toss Elixir B and from Elixir X.
Upon reaching the gate, I get shunted back to the start with ‘Attunement improperly aligned.’ Is this some kind of ‘oh, we didn’t want people using Stability on that’ thing, or is this a bug?
With no differentiation between what might be ‘you didn’t do it how we wanted it done’ and ‘you didn’t get the attunement,’ it’s awful hard to tell.

Update: Just did it without using any boons or movement skills at all – or, for that matter, utility skills.

Still ‘improperly aligned.’

I haven’t done Goemm’s Lab since the update. I can’t test it now since I’m about to play games with a friend. Maybe later I can see if I can figure out something for you.

I’ve never had problems with the attunements. The only problems I’ve ever had with that puzzle were getting stuck between the gates.

I am getting the improperly aligned error too, even though I got the attunement (tried it twice). I’ve done this JP many times before and never hit this when getting the attunement. Seems to be bugged to me.

I just did it, and I had no issues. Used stability (necro lich form) to get past the wind area for the first section. So yeah. Sounds like just some weird random problem.

I’m having this issue too. I get the first attunement, go through the asura gate, get past the wind stuff, go through the next asura gate, and get teleported back to the start with the attunement improperly aligned error.

Has anyone figured out what’s going on?

No idea what’s going on, still, but there is a workaround:
Get the attunement, go to the end point, then have the golem teleport you to the next section.

Had to do it for Windy and Chilly Stations, but Stormy worked just fine.

Thanks Anymras! The workaround worked for me. After it teleported me back to the beginning, I just left through the portal behind me and talked to the golem on the outside to be teleported to stormy.

Yep, its bugged, i already posted about it (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/BUG-Metrica-Province-JP-Bug/first#post4423816) and also reported the bug in game.

Btw. Goemm’s Lab is still bugged (but the workaround still works, too -> if you get ported back to the beginning, just go back trough the first portal, talk to the golem and he will port you to the right portal).
