Try again tomorrow; I’m always able to withdraw again on mondays, not so much on sundays…

Shouldn’t the restriction already been reset for this week?
Why my account it still restricted?
Or did Day Light Saving time delayed the reset?

I agree with Luna: weekly reset for key runs & gold transfer restrictions seem to happen Monday UTC 00:01

So either there’s a game bug or there’s a text bug on the help page.

PS I wish they would make all the weekly reset times identical. With the exception of the differing reset times for EU vs NA WvW, I can’t think of any reason it’s better for the community to have to keep track of more than one.

The website says Sunday 12:01 UTC. In-game, I’ve always thought it was Monday 12:01 UTC.

Maybe the reset occurs 7 days from the day you retrieve the gold? Which means that above reset doesn’t apply any more….

Why is your mailbox full? You should be able to work with 8+ mail before that happens. Are you saying that every single one of them contains coin?

If you still aren’t seeing a reset, contact Customer Service

Good luck and please let us know how it works out.

Good to know, thanks for letting us know.

Please update data on the wikis so people aren’t misslead.

You can update that info yourself — the wiki is edited by players, not ANet.

I don’t I have to justify myself on how I handle my mailbox.

Not sure why you consider my asking why your mailbox is full as asking for “justification” — it was a question meant to help troubleshoot the issue. For better or worse, ANet’s imposed a low limit on the number of emails we can save, which also affects how easy it is to accept coin via mail.

I don’t see how your question can help in any way troubleshoot the issue, if you are not assuming that I don’t handle my mailbox correctly. This question also asked for private data I really don’t want to expose on this forum, it would expose my account to possible attacks from hackers, thus your question was not appropriate.
Anet did in fact imposed a low limit in the mail box, but this is not relevant to the subject, as it is clearly the reset time/day of the gold limitation we are talking about, the fact that we have 10 mails limitation, or could have 100 doesn’t change anything at all. The only possible way these two topics come into connection is when, just like happened right now to me, a deficit on one has effects the other, but as mentioned above, I don’t care about how many mail we can have, but I don’t want to arrive in a situation where I can’t take mails only because of poor data clarification.

EDIT : And about the wiki, well maybe you are right, but this relevant data isn’t in the guildwars2 wiki but in the costumer service wiki, something nobody but Anet can edit.

Just so there is no confusion, it is the Knowledge Base you want updated, not the Wiki, GW2, or ‘costumer service’.

Perhaps, Michael will see this and have someone look into it.

Also, I’m not sure anyone knowing that your Mailbox is full, nor why (the only reason one could not open a mail before reset is if all 10 [or more] contained Gold, could possibly compromise your account. But, if you have concerns, make sure to peruse the Knowledge Base for tips on how to secure your account.

Good luck.

The point is: I didn’t assume anything about your account — that’s why I asked you. It might surprise you to learn just how often something as simple as that turns out to be the reason for posts in the bug forum (or on reddit or in /map). I wasn’t asking for private data either, just whether you had a full mailbox and whether each of the mails had coin.

Here’s one scenario I was wondering about (to make it clear why I asked):

  • You sold a precursor to a friend for 650 gold, of which you could only collect 500 initially.
  • While waiting, you helped another friend’s guild with some jumping puzzles and they all decided to tip you, resulting in you getting 10 more emails.
  • This would leave you with a full mailbox, with each email including coin
  • You’d be without any way to delete any mail, since you first have claim the contents.

A similar scenario would be that you only had the one email with coin and the guild folks just sent you some great thank you notes, to which you wanted to reply at your leisure. This would also result in a full mailbox and problems claiming coin.

Now, I don’t need to know any of those details. That’s why I only asked whether the mailbox was full and, if so, whether each mail had coin — the next steps vary depending on what sort of situation you’re in.

That’s how troubleshooting works — the person trying to help has to ask lots of questions that might seem unrelated to the person looking for assistance.

tl;dr I asked because I didn’t want to assume anything about your situation, so I could better help you figure out what to do about it.
