I didn’t know where to put it but basically, gold sellers are by passing the mailing reporting system.

What they do is they sent the in game mail with 1 copper, when you receive the mail there is no option to report and before you can delete it – you have to take the copper and then you can deleted , after taking the copper there still is no report option.

i dont understand this….i have the option of reporting gold sellers in mail just like i do in game, and have never seen them send me 1c. there is an exclamation mark on the bottom left of the mail window that has your bot/gold farming etc reporting options.

I think the OP is quite clear and one of my guild mates mentioned he had this last night too.

I got a mail with 1c today but I was still able to report them.

I can report gold sellers sending 1c the same as any other mail.

That of course doesn’t disprove OP’s claim.

Report before taking the 1 copper. Problem solved.

Hi guys, thats the thing, when I saw it was gold sellers mail, I immediatelly looked for the report option (!) – it was not there, and I had no option to delete it either, I had to take the copper first and only then delete option became available. But no option to report it was available to me…. I now wish I would’ve taken a screenshot, but I was in WvW and in mid fightings so I didn’t really think much except that I should report it at later date.

People say that the reporting ability is there, but that was the whole issue – I didn’t… Either client bugged or gold sellers somehow circumvented.

I’m having the same issue. Gold seller sent me an email with 1c attached and there is no reporting option nor was the delete button highlighted.

If you discover this bug again, please make a screenshot and upload it in this thread.

Do not replay back the message from the gold seller!!!
