Thank you. Completed two maps in The Heart of Thorns and was wondering as well. Hopefully, this will be fixed sooner than later.

I understand that they want to fix game crash first.
I think I can live with this issue…for 1 more week :/ . . .

They have to retroactively reward us cause the map completion of the new zones give gifts required for gen 2 legendary weapons, so don’t worry about it.

This issue is not a priority if you ask me. I’d rather see them fix other issues first.

How many longer does this topic need to get before we get any communication. Even a: “Oops, we missed something it seems. But we are looking into it again!” would be nice!

Which makes me think some people on the team are scratching their hair over this. And they are still as clueless as we are. :S

With this most people cant complete their Elite Spec weapon collections

As much as I like that someone is still going on about this bug, which I personally suffer from, I also have a thing about having things nice and orderly. I completed 3 maps on my warrior last week and still haven’t got anything for it.

edit: 100% now, all 4 maps done, and nothing

I am quickly losing my motivation to play… I rushed so much for the Bo staff skin… 5 days later I still cannot recieve the cache. This is getting really annoying seeing people without completion get rewarded for doing less than I did..done till this is fixed.

Yes, same here. completed the map 2 hours go, no reward I also had world completion prior to HoT.

At forum is, that map comp was fixed. But not… I complete today verdant brink on 100%. Also some ppl from guild finished maps and dont get anything.

So another fix please. And give reward to ppl, which dont get rewards.

with 100% core completion I have done Verdant & Auric for no reward with my Guardian. However doing it with alt-classes I have finished Verdant 4 times and gotten the chest … so yeah it’s that core completion not rewarding new maps =/

I’d prefer not to level another guardian to 80 just to do 1 map please!

I had the same yesterday. Finished VB on my Ranger and got no reward, which I needed for achievement.

However, I have an idea what the cause is. They switched some hero challenges around and messed some up. Like the one at the final waypoint got switched with the one east of noble area. You have to do the one to get the other and vice versa. Now I mostly completed VB before they made these changes, so it wouldn’t surprise me if I had to go back and do one of these two to complete the map. Or maybe something else that shows as completed but I never did.

Auric basin map reward still not received after patch. Can we please expect to get the reward chest? No word on this matter is pretty disturbing.

I have the same problem, I also have 100% map completion in Tyria and got no reward in verdant brink

100% Map completion in Old Tyria and no reward for completing Verdant Brink. Nice to knoe I’m not alone and just adding my +1 hoping this gets fixed soon

last week or so, did Dry Top, SW, VB, and AB. (80ish % of tangled, and dragons stand)

Those first 4 zones rewarded NOTHING for 100% complete.

I do have 100% old world completion. /m chat said this was supposed to have been fixed, though I find nothing in the patch notes.

Ideas?

I have an idea….fix it. I speak as a developer myself (pacs/ris software for hospitals) IT IS NOT HARD! 1 dude could finish all the work for all the zones missing rewards in a single afternoon.

shoot less time than that. Find the code for the Old world level 80 zones and tweak it a bit. Perhaps add a guaranteed exotic new armor wep modification to it.

Constant patches fixing ‘hidden’ behind the sense things do nothing but irritate people. Add 1 single visible fix to each patch would go a long way to improve/increase player satisfaction.

I saw on wiki that the bug of map completation was corrected, but I cant still take the new maps rewarkittenhe only one?

You are not the only one. Also they have yet to reward the chest for those who completed prior to patch as well.

Completed Verdant around a week ago now.. still waiting for my map completion reward..

It’s an annoying bug, but it doesn’t block game progression or cause crashes or anything like that, so it’s low priority.

I finished Auric Basin Map just now, and I didn’t get the chest. Verdant Brink was also done couple of days ago. I got no chest for it either. My character has 100% map completion in Central Tyria.

I just got 100% completion on Verdant Brink and got ….. diddly squat!!

Others also complaining in map chat they never got anything, while others say they got it… lucky them I guess.

Jus got VB map completion.. and got zip!
Others also saying in map chat, that they haven’t got rewards, some linking what they have got… but hey, why doesn’t this crap surprise me anymore

ANET haven’t even bothered to respond to the ticket sent in.. that’s a new experience for sure, not even one of their automated responses… customer service with a smile ehh

Is there any word on when this will be fixed, or if it’s even in the works? I’d really like to unlock my Dark Harvest, and map completion is the only thing holding me back.

Yeah, I’m having the same problem. I had 100% map comp prior to HoT and when I completed the VB map just earlier today I didn’t get anything.

I completed Verdant Bring the other day (Yes, I’m slow) but I did not receive any rewards for completion. I’ve heard there was a bug blocking map rewards in the new area for characters who already have map completion in the core game? Is this the case? Is it something ANet is working on?

Per many threads on this over the past few days (there’s even a fresh one in the general forum), yes, there is a bug. As there is a bug forum thread on the subject, yes, they clearly know about the issue. One may assume they are working on it as it is in fact blocking progress for many people.

Me included — while I have a spare guardian to do a map completion for my guardian with 100%, I have no spare thief, so my main content-experiencer, my guy who will rock the Bo, he won’t be able to complete it no matter how much else I do towards it. But I figure they will in fact fix it and then I can get my pretty staff.

When exactly will this bug be fixed? My warrior with 100% tyria completion mapped verdant brink well over a week ago, and he still has yet to receive the verdant brink map reward.

I’m not sure what the previous “Fixed map completion bug” thing in the game release notes is, but it wasn’t the rewards. I am seriously cross now.

I believe 2 things should happen, but this is just me.

1) Please fix the 100% tyria -> No verdant brink etc map rewards, and

2) Add MORE information into what is fixed, such as WHAT map completion bug, was it something didn’t count, was it people got the reward and others didn’t? (which it wasn’t)< but.. MORE information would have been better.

100% map on Verdant Brink and Nothing as well. Yet my friend was doing it with me and got it , but still got something.

Completed the four maps and no sign of the reward.
The solution is simple:
Add a new point of interest for anyone who has the entire map at 100 % passes to have 99% and just need to get that point of interest to receive the reward .

Still bugged for me. I have 100% map completion, completed VB (prior to the HP change), and got no reward.

I’ve Completed all 4 new areas (VB, AB, T, DS) and did not even get the gift of maguma.

bumps for this thread developers must fix this before the legendaries hit…. or else some of us can’t get the gifts at all sadly…. so hopefully it gets noticed

Bump the s^*# out of this until we get some kind of response. I mean, should i be levelling a second character of each class that has 100% tyria completion?! so i can actually complete collections and stuff?

not gonna lie, feeling seriously disincentivised regarding map completion of expansion maps now.

Contact CS is probably the best you can do. It happens because you probably had 100% map completion on that specific character already.

Just map completed Silverwastes on a character with 100% main tyria world completion and got no reward…

No one has an answer to this? =/
