I hit 60 while in WvWvW, and noticed the Retrainer. For the heck of it I checked, and he had all the training manuals. I bought the Grandmaster one and used it and… nothing. It didn’t unlock the last section of traits.

I headed to Lion’s Arch, found the warrior trainer and reset my talents hoping it would (but knowing it wouldn’t) fix things.

And yes, I have previously purchased and used the other two manuals.

I have used the first two books, and just recently clicked on the Grand Master book.
80 level Thief.
Grand Master skills are still locked.
Frustrating.

I had the exact same thing happen to my level 61 warrior, I had bought the Grandmaster book while in WvWvW and thought that might be part of the issue. I posted a message here as well as filing an in game bug report. Today I filed a second bug report.

And yes, just like the OP I have bought and used the previous books, at the levels they unlocked. My previous level 80 toon had no issues.

Still nothing, and bug reports filed in game have received no response. There is another player reporting a similar issue.

I have the same issue. I purchased the Grand Master Training Manual book and am unable to use it. When you click on the manual nothing happens. I tried it in WvW and in Lion’s Arch but it still doesn’t reset my traits and the Manual stays in my bag.

Do we know when this will be fixed? Thanks!

I bought mine in Lions Arch and the first time I have got this bug out of all my characters.Just get a grinding sound when clicking on the GM Manual for my Ele’,traits do not reset.Even sold the original and bought another manual to test.Still does not work, at level 63 now.
