Hi! This post is about problem people have had for years, everyone found out different solutions and I have tried them all and still problem didn’t get fixed.
So… Yesterday I was playing GW for about 3 hours, shutted game down and left my computer running. 1 hour later I came back and tried to launch the game. I entered password, hitted play and… My screen turned to black and could only see mouse pointer which moved normally. First it was normal GW arrow pointer but then it switched to hand pointer?
Okay, trying to exit game, nothing happens, Alt Ctrl Del and get out. Got message saying Nvidia Kernel model xxx.xxx has stopped working and recovered.
Many others have had this problem when they updated their graphic drivers. Well I haven’t updated them at all. GW has been running with my computer for 6 months without any problems. Also my computer is only 6 months old. I use laptop ASUS X550JX which is low budget gaming laptop. (800 euros)
I have Geforce GTX950M GPU and Intel i-5 CPU, and used mostly minimum settings in game. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall drivers but nothing seems to work. Is it possible my GPU is damaged and needs to be replaced?
I have integrated GPU too, Intel HD4600 and even it can run game with minimum settings without any problems.
