Guild Wars 2

A couple hours after I got this skin set, out of nowhere these 4 white marks showed up on the face of it. It’s not the light reflection, can’t change colors n fix it, cant log or completely sign off and fix it, nothing works. It is a graphics glitch. Help.

They look like portions of your charr’s teeth sticking through.

Can try using a Total Makeover Kit (if you have one) to adjust your teeth in the preview screen to see if that is what is sticking through. If it is your teeth, perhaps it is their length that is a bit too long for that helmet or the jaw is at too strong of an angle.

i would, but why would that start happening a cpl hours AFTER i had already put it on? i was in and ran around wvw for that time before it happened, with those marks not showing at all.

and why should i be forced to PURCHASE some stupid makeover kit just to make my gear not glitchy? that would kind of defeat the purpose of allowing us to create our characters how we want them before the game even begins. this has nothing to do with my toon and the way i made it, this is all on GW2. i have no problem spending money on things i want or need, but i will not spend money to fix this, they should have taken my charr’s big mouth into consideration when creating this gear. and if their answer is what you suggest, i will expect a refund of the gems i purchased to get this gear skin.

I was just looking to find a reason for the issue and see if the cause could be determined. I didn’t recommend your purchasing a kit, just to check the teeth in the preview if you did have one so that the teeth could be ruled out as the cause. If it is your teeth, then perhaps they weren’t protruding through the helm in earlier idle animations when you equipped the gear, but then began protruding during combat stance or another animation.

Was just trying to help pinpoint what a possible cause for it was to see if it was something that required Anet to do something about it or if it was easily explained and corrected without their taking action on it and adding it to their list of things to do. Just wanted to help you out…
