Basically within 5 min of starting the game my screen will begin to flicker and black bars will appear, the game looks like it’s frozen but if I tab out and tab back in the game goes back to normal. Usually it happens again within a few minutes.

Drivers are up to date; it’s an nvidia card geforce gt650m. Temperature seems fine. It can run other games without issues. I haven’t had any other problems with my pc crashing just Guild Wars 2.

As a side note I do NOT have HoT on my account.

Are you running full screen? Maybe try windowed full screen, or vice versa?

There’s a graphics memory leak going on with the new client, it could be affecting how the game is displayed. I have HoT, but I get an memory leak crash every hour to two hours of play after a temporary game freeze. That’s like my five minute warning. Lol

I run in full screen mode so I’ll have to test it out.

Im still getting this bug….am on a Mac 27"….16G ram 2G vram. Never had this issue playing gw2 before. First day was good, after patch that night….crash, crash and more crashing….video changes to all colors at times, which is a warning its gona crash. Sometimes locks up everything and freezes, or just quits, with fatal error message. I know you have many bug reports Anet, but Mac players can’t do guild Hall things and we seem to be getting the worst of the crashing. Please help. But in reading up, seems many have the problem.
