I want to make this clear beforehand: I have killed this wurm several times recently in much the same way – autoattacking (with melee) while it is rising out of the swamp. Each time I would see myself doing damage and get the chest at the end. But not today.

No, today, while it was rising out of the swamp, my attacks were doing nothing. Not 0 damage, not “missing”, but nothing. As if I was hitting air. I am aware of certain objects being easy to miss with melee attacks, so of course I was moving around the wurm while trying to attack it.

In the end I got no rewards, as did a couple other people in my guild.

The same thing happened to us just now with the wurm, right in front of it with my ele doing aoe and such, got nothing.
