After the first event completes where you escort Gamarien in a circle, he resets back to his original position at Falias Thorp.

I can confirm this. The escort event succeeds and Gamarien just walks back to the village.

Not a bug. From the update notes:

Great Jungle Wurm (Caledon Forest)

  • The event to protect Gamarien as he scouts Wychmire Swamp is no longer part of the Great Jungle Wurm event chain, but it now occurs when the boss event chain is not active.
Despaired Ranger: Crafted The Dreamer, lost range, lost GS condi damage for synergy.
Pet AI awful. Sword root+Aussie latency unmanagable. Lost playstyle, lost legendary, given up.
Mell: 80 Asura Guardian (+7 other 80s) | Aus Serenity [AUS] | Jade Quarry
