As the title says, my swap weapon button sometimes gets greyed out and it can’t be used. I have to go in to the hero panel and manually click the swap weapon button in there to fix it.

Not sure how or when it happends, but I tend to notice it when I want to swap weapons mid battle. it can be very annoying. Anyone else have this problem?

Weapon swap while in combat has a 10s cooldown, could that what prevents you from swapping?

It’s not that, the last time this happened I unequipped then re-equipped my weapon and I have the Show Skill Recharge option enabled so it is easy to see if it is because of the cooldown.

I have had this happen a few times. Very random and very seldom so I can’t pinpoint what might be causing it. The swap button will remain greyed out and unusable until you are able to trick the system into swapping weapons by getting out of combat or fussing with the hero panel.

Go to the Game menu/Options panel/Control options and give a keybind to Stow/Draw Weapons – that helped me.

I can definitely say that this bug often occurs in a certain encounters.
I experienced this issue a lot during my playtime (more than 30 times) and it only occured in the following dungeons:
- TA path up after you kill the second spider boss (the one with eggs)
- AC any path after you kill the spider

Maybe its related to some type of enemy you fighting or skills they using. Although I never experienced this bug after fighting the first spider boss in TA

In my case, it will remain greyed out untill I got o the hero panel and manually swap, no matter if I’m in or out of combat. I have not tried loging off to see if it fixes it.

This has happened to me recently – but I had to exit to the character select screen and log back in to fix. Neither my keybind or clicking swapped weapons.

It only works from hero panel like Niacin said. The only way to fix it that I’ve found.

This often happens when you swap right before a cutscene. Usually it isn’t a problem if you go to your hero tab and manually swap there.

For the cause I suspect it is a race condition in the code. It’s been a while but I am fairly certain that when it happened to me it I was in the middle of being knocked down. There is probably a bad interaction between the timer for when you get hit with a CC and the timer for manual weapon swap.

I did some research, it seems like it happends when you switch weapon in battle and while the CD for the switch weapon is going, you exit battle and it buggs 1/4 times, give or take. But that is when/how it happends to me.
