Hello,

I just tryed looking around the forums and didn’t find any other post about this, so I’m making a new one. Please redirect me to any existing one if I just didn’t find it.

I’ve been trying to finish Griffonrook Run Jumping Puzzle in Lornar’s Pass for quite some time now, done it several times in the past trying to make it count in my achievement panel everytime there was a new patch, but it’s still grayed out (and I think it’s most likely not counting for my total points).

I let this sit for a while because till now it was just for show, but with the recent implemented reward system for achievement points I’ve decided to do a little grinding and came again to my JP points.

Is there a way to make this work? I remember the first time I was doing it there was another player there, who beat me to the chest. I did run with the bomb in hand, I did put it down but then the chest was already open by the other player. I looted it and went out. I checked the panel and the JP was still grayed out, I thought it wasn’t a big problem, porbably would get it by repeating it, but no, didn’t help.

Any clue on what I can do to fix this?

Getting credit for Griffonrook does not require carrying the bomb or opening the chest or even looting the chest.

The area that triggers the achievement is a bit weird though. If you are carrying the bomb and running straight to the chest it is easy to end up skipping the trigger area. There is a V shaped area formed by the rock on the west side of the chest. The trigger area is somewhere in that V. The right side of the V is the rock that the chest is sitting on.

First, just for the achievement you can do it without the bomb.

Next, I do believe there is a second chest. There was a chest added about half way through. Make sure you are getting to the final chest, and you should get the achievement.

Forgot about that one even though I just grabbed it the other day. The final chest is past the skritts with the kite baskets.

I’ll look for the weird V area, ty. I’ve been going to that point you mentioned, past the first chest and into the last one, maybe I’m just missing the proper positioning.
