Guild Wars 2

Ok… Friend got back into the game after a while. We can group, but cannot get into the same instance regardless of what we try. Even tried adding him to guild. I can see his marker on map, but no luck on grouping in same instances.

Different servers, but that hasn’t been an issue previously. Ideas?

Are you both on servers in the same region? Both NA, or both EU?

If you are, one of you should be able to click on party icon, and ‘Join in xxx map’.

If not, you will be unable to play together, and one will have to transfer.

Yes. Both NA. No Join in xxx map option though. Can see his marker on the maps, but cant join same instance, with no option to.

Do you get all the other options? Kick, whisper, add to friends, etc? Which servers? Which maps? Which IPs?

One or both of you might try a -repair of the client, in case of corrupted file(s).
