Sometimes the 3rd chain of the hammer autoattack fails to place the Symbol of Protection.
This can be replicated by hitting something while NOT having anything targeted.
The third strike does damage, but fails to place the symbol.
SoP does not seem to fail if you have a hostile targeted.
