Guild Wars 2

First off apologies if this has already been posted, i did a quick search and didn’t see that it had been brought to attention.

While wielding a shield and sword main hand weapon, when you take the trait stalwart defender which is supposed to give +180 toughness and 20% reduced recharge on shield skills, it does give the boosts mentioned in the tool tip but it also boosts the power shown in the hero panel. For me it was jumping my power from 2556 to 2923 after i put the trait on a jump of 367 extra power. Tested this with another guardian and it appears to only take affect when you have a shield with ascended stats as it showed up with both the legendary and a regular ascended shield. It also didn’t seem to work with any main hand weapons aside from sword, and only affected the greatsword out of the guardians 2h weapons. When you add any other effects that would boost your power such as might, bane signet, ect the extra power will disappear and show the power as it normally should be. Wasn’t able to replicate the boost in power with any of the other traits in that line you would take instead of stalwart defender, so it seems to be a weird interaction between this specific trait and ascended quality shields,mainhand sword, and greatsword.

Edit: Power goes back up to higher then it should be after you get might if you weapon swap again. Was able to get over 4k attack just by using empower and save yourselves then switching staff back to greatsword.

tldr: shield traits with certain weapons be bugged, much power!
