That Symbolic Avenger is bugged is something we know for some days already, what happened there is the end of some testing.

While talking on TS about this bug, the thought came up, if there is a cap for it. So I gathered up all the SC Member who were online on that golem.
We started with two symbols mace+staff/gs and then swapped to hammer. Together with quickness we got 50k+ auto attacks on hammer.

So yeah, the result was, there is no cap for this, the more guards and symbol, the higher the dmg.

It gets a bit the feeling of the old “Ursanway” from GW1. Just spam #1 or let the auto attack run by itself and you melt down everything.

Something I want to mention as well. This trait by itself is fine, as long as there is only 1 guard. But at the point you start stacking them, it gets insane.

It should increase the damage on basis of your own symbols only, if that is the case (I have not tested).

Just like several other things on guardians, the trait is NOT limited to your own symbols. It’s currently proc’ing off every single symbol an enemy stands in. I was able to achieve 25k crit hits on Teq’s crit spot before we even reached the first battery phase.
