Guild Wars 2

My guardian always seem to have loot drops from the area completion and quest chest that drop manly armor not usable also a lot of guns and harpoons that are not usable by my profession. Most of it seems like it’s for a ranger or engineer? Has any one else had this.
I don’t notice it on my Mesmer or Elementalist? Are the loot tables mixed up? Where is all the heavy armor?

Map completion rewards are random. I get the needed pieces by exchanging with guild mates, or selling mine on TP and buying the ones I want.

Seems to be working as intended.

I understand the random loot from the area, I saying that it’s odd if not screwed up that my guarding only gets drops it can’t use and it’s the same with other guardians, but with other classes the drops are 90% of the time usable by them. This is true in the guild I’m in and same with others I have spoken to. I understand I can trade with others if and only if they get drops I can use and they can’t. But heavy armor rare drops seem more than rare.
IMO of what I’ve seen and people I’ve spoke to.

I have had 2 zones out of 7-8 zones so far actually have something I need. It truly is random. The stinky part was, my friend who also was an elemental, experienced the same thing, we both consistently got swords, and heavy/medium armour rewards.
What can you do? Trade posted them up, lost my 15% tax and sellers fee, but I was able to purchase something that was pertinent to me.
