Guild Wars 2

I’m… not sure if this is a bug or not? I got a guild assassin backpack as a drop. I didn’t buy it, but the wiki says that the only way to acquire it is to purchase it.

But I got it as a drop.

Furthermore, the wiki says its soulbound on use, but it soulbound to my character on acquire.

So… is this a bug, or is the wiki wrong? I’ve done a search in the forums but the search engine came up with nothing.

Well, the Wiki can only be as accurate and as up-to-date as those players contributing to it have access to the information.

If the Backpack was recently added to the drop loot table, or is an extremely rare drop that no one has mentioned before, it would be possible for the Wiki to be in need of editing.

It’s hard to say, unless a Dev confirms it one way or the other.

I know the wiki may not be accurate, but they are pretty close usually. Someone told me that its souldbinding on acquire was a bug, but other than that….

You can certainly get them from Guild Missions in the popup chest at the end. I and several guildies have gotten them this way. I’ve never seen one as a drop however.

Edit: The ones you buy are soulbound on acquire as well.
