Guild Wars 2

I know a lot of people are talking about not being able to talk in guild. My issue (after I “fixed” the “you are not in a guild” problem, since I know it resets and you have to do it again sometimes) is that when I switch from the chat tab I created just for my guild chat to another tab, then switch back, all of the guild chat is erased.

I now have to view guild chat in my main chat window in order to keep it from erasing itself.

I was going to put this in a bug report in game, but I also noticed when attempting to do so in game, the bug report interface was bugged and I could not figure out what number was supposed to correspond to the proper report I was putting in.

I just noticed that guild chat, no matter which tab I am on, even if it isn’t checked in that tab, is showing up. It disappears in every tab when I switch (except for my main tab, as I have already stated before).

What is the fix for ‘You are not in a guild" problem? I tried standing down and repping again, that doesn’t help.

Go to Contacts panel, set your status to offline and then back online. It seems to be a workaround for the issue of not being able to talk in guild chat. However, be aware that there have been reports about that action causing a client crash.
