With all due respect Anet, can you give me an explanation on why you designed this instancing mechanism so bad? what technical restriction is there to prevent the guild hall from just being 1 instance for every member?

ATM we are 25 minutes in to trying to get into the same instance so we can continue our christmas party.. 25 people alrdy in same instance, someone else joins and somehow gets in an instance alone, and our 25-men occupied instance gets closed and we are spit up again?

This design is just bad, sorry i can’t be constructive about this it’s just awefull

I’ve never been to a guild hall but when I first read about how they were handling instances I found it to be really bizarre. It would be like having Lion’s Arch hold only 10 people and then a new instance that only holds 25 and so on. In Guild Wars 1 (ald probably almost every game out there?) everyone just zoned into the same Guild Hall without any issues. Not sure why they would do it differently here.

We have this same problem every week setting up for missions. We did the same yesterday held a guild christmas party and gave gifts and prizes away. we lost 7 guild banquets our scribe made over this. went to do missions and was worse than it has been 3 different hall map instances and everyone couldnt get on the same one. still have to taxi guildies at the severely bugged mission spots. go to one area of the hall come back and scribe area is in rubble like it wasn’t built can’t place obstacles in arenas now. We are almost level 39 guild will be 40 soon what else is not going to work right or break that we have to build. All guild members should be in the same hall map no matter how many this map updating click move is a problem!!
