One oddity I noticed was that I received the bouncy chest when the race itself was completed, not when I crossed the finish line.

1. May 16th – 22nd (Wish I could be more accurate. I believe the Daily was to do events in Diessa which led me to that map.)
2. I represented Siblings of Vengeance [SoV]. Another guild had started the event. I queued up the mission for SoV once I saw the event was going.
3. Devourer Burrow (though I stayed on the map to harvest, and received the bouncy chest once the timer on the event ran out, and the event had succeeded).
4. Yes, I’ve done this race before and received the appropriate reward upon crossing the finish line.
5. n/a, I was the only one online at the time, and only guild member participating.
6. n/a, I was the only one online at the time, and only guild member participating.
7. I was not in any party at the time.

In my experience, if you are the last person to cross the finish line, you will not receive your personal reward until either another person crosses the finish line after you, or your guild receives credit for the completed race.

One thing I have noticed is that if I run the race solo (but with another guild who is running it), I will never receive the rewards even if I activate my own guild’s Rush before I start participating. The Rush itself is completed (15/15), but despite the timer (for both the in-map event as well as the guild mission time limit) finishing, I still will not receive the rewards.

I have no issues when I run the race with the rest of my guild, which leads me to suspect that there is a minimum number of guildmates that must participate in the mission, but exactly what this requirement is is never stated in the mission description.

Fault of providing a lack of information I’ll mention what happened to me a little while ago.

I was running the ghost wolf rush on it’s last active day (so a bit over a week ago I think). I noticed that if I get downed by a mob (a bat in my case) and not traps; I returned to character form, but never left Rush mode. This put me in an interesting scenario where as an asura I still got hit by traps and rockfalls, while having access to all my skills.

Now as great as this seems, I didn’t have my wolf skills anymore, so no seeing the traps. Additionally all the Waypoints remained contested until I walked through a zone portal (relog did not fix). If I crossed the finish line I would not get credit.

At the time I was repping [ROW] Reckoning of Will. I had previously gotten credit for this rush on previous weeks. I was also in a party with 3 other members who were able to complete the rush just fine.

Subsequent attempts at the rush were permanently bugged and I could not get rewards even after ‘properly’ completing the rush.

Have received the reward when running solo, so i guess that’s not it.

Also, there sometimes is a delay between passing the finish line and receiving the reward. I believe, that if the rush or guild mission ends during such a delay, you won’t receive the reward. Ending the mission doesn’t cause people still waiting to receive theirs to get them, and so far i have never received a reward after the timer ended, even if i passed the finish line within time limit.

I ran a solo guild quaggan race in Frostgorge Sound yesterday, 25th May. I was representing Guardians of Divinity (GOD). I completed the race and got credit on the UI 1/15 races completed, but didn’t get the usual reward credit of the bouncy chest. I waited till the timer ran out and still nothing. I ran this race on my 2nd acct.

Just now, I ran a solo and completed the bear run in Lonar Pass on my main account. Representing the same guild as above. Finished the race 2 times and still no reward. Again the UI showed I completed 2 races but even after the timer ran out i still got no reward.

This week is the first time i have encountered this bug. In fact, i completed the Southsun Cove run earlier this week soon after reset and got my reward. In this case, another guild had activated the race and i then activated mine and completed just 1 race to get my reward. I ran it solo again, for the same guild as above. The time of day/night i did these races vary so can’t tell u the exact time.

However, the Southsun cove was ran b4 the last mini patch 2 days ago, relating to a fix of Cow Pies and it worked fine, while the last 2 races that didn’t give rewards were done post that patch. I have a feeling (at least for me) that patch bugged out my rewards somehow. I’ve been having other odd issues since then too, where i open the guild panel and all guild info is blank except the main guild roster window. If i zone into a different map, the info returns. I’ve also been getting these messages quite often “cannot connect to the guild server”. This message has been popping up for a long while though and when it does, all information on the guild panel disappears briefly.

Update: I just completed the bear race in Lonar Pass again for Guardians of Divinity (GOD), in conjunction with another guild, got the credit for the guild and earned the favor, but no personal reward even after the timer ran out.

Just prior to this, i completed the Southsun race, same as above in conjunction with another guild, after there was 8/15 races on the UI, i got the personal reward chest and at 15/15 i was able to accept the credit for the guild as well. Very inconsistent what is going on here.

It would be nice to know the exact conditions for earning the personal reward.

Guild Rush:
There is some delay between crossing the finishing line and receiving your personal reward. The delay seems not (entirely) time based, but also takes other players crossing the finishing line into account. Personal rewards are flushed out if the mission is successfully completed for the guild, but seems to be lost if the mission fails during the delay.

Guild Trek:
We sometimes do one easy location at the start to ensure that everyone gets their personal reward and it sometimes happens that a few people don’t get their rewards despite standing right on the symbol when it’s activated. This only seems to happen when there are a lot of people (15+) on a single location. Usually this is not much of an issue as there are some more locations to get the reward.

Three things occurred before I received the reward.

1. I was notified the event had finished.
2. Long pause.
3. I was notified that my guild had completed the race. I was given the personal reward at this point.
   (edit:Forgot to mention the pop-up asking if I wished to accept credit for the event. I believe this occurred after #1, above)

What guild were you representing and was it the guild running the mission, or another guild?
→ [LDS] (legendary dragon slayers, a german guild)

What race(s) did you participated in, when you didn’t get personal rewards?_
→ Bear lope, lornars pass. I finished the race, got every flag (→ if you dont you wont get transformed back anyways) didnt die once. (unlike other guildmembers who took part, died, finished like me but got the bouncy chest. )

Have you gotten participation for these races in the past and received rewards?
→ yep. Without problem, this here was first time this happened.
I had other bugs, like the game not recognizing that I died &transformation ended so Traps would still trigger on me and I would be incapable of using any waypoints (therefore wasn’t able to rez at a WP until I re-logged.)

When your guild runs the race, are you in the same map as the rest of the guild, or did you end up in your own map?:
→I started the race on a different map first.
I was in a squad but my guildies were on the same map but different IP/instance..
I started the run and then stopped because they asked me to come over to their map because their Race had 7 minutes open while the other had only 2.) So I stopped transformation and swapped maps and then restarted the race and finished it successfully.
The run after that-devour burrow was successful.

btw THAT ONE HAS AN INVISIBLE WALL… since now how long?? It forces you to run through the first big trap (not the spikes but the falling stones) /dodge through it..
I always though it was just my potato not loading the level fast enough (and therefore me colliding with an invisible rock or something… (which isn’t anything new) but at that day somebody else said it was an invisible wall.. Well its there a long time, could you at least dress it up nicely? Put on some stone, willya?

How many guild members are running the race with you? Hmnh, idk, 6 or 7 at that day.

Are you part of a squad or party? Or are you participating without a group? → squad. We run this together but usually only for the personal bonus because sometimes we aren’t enough,s o everybody runs to get their chest and then we try together with another guild at another day.

The race failed in the sense that we hadn’t enough people to finish it, so it were only 7 out of 15 successful runs, but that never mattered beforehand.

I was a bit late→ I joined while the race was already active, idk whether that makes a difference.

Were you playing on an Engineer at the time? This seems to happen often to Engineers in my guild.

This stuff happens to me as engineer and as revenant..(well those are basically my “main” classes)

Were you playing on an Engineer at the time? This seems to happen often to Engineers in my guild.

I was indeed playing as an Engineer. It’s the first time I ran a rush with engi (as I just happened to be there). Good to know though, I’ll avoid running with engi (and rev as per previous comment).

Just ran it a third time, but tried something new at the end, and got a different result.

1. First pass: Same as above, same result (no personal chest upon crossing finish line).
2. Second pass: While the SAME event was running, I went back to the start and ran it again. I completed the race and was #15/15. I received the bouncing chest RIGHT then, as I normally would have expected.

I sent another in-game bug report just a moment ago showing the collection.

I submitted in-game reports this year and last year. 1 – 2 months ago, I made a forum post about this.
We were in a squad with approximately 11 people.

Hiya! Our guildies were having trouble getting credit for the races. So we experimented tonight. We did the easy devourer mission(31 minutes in Diessa) (by the way there is an invisible wall right after the very first flag on the right side). We waited for the guild ahead of us to end before we started. We were the only guild who started a race in that instance. All 20 of us got over the finish line within the time limit. The first 15 over got their credit right away. Those of us who were after that, had to wait for the race time to end before we got credit. We did NOT end the race. We let it end on its own.

After it ended, we all got both guild credit and personal credit. We were in a squad. Our guild is REQT (Requim Infinitum). Everyone who came was repping us the whole time. We did this mission around 9 15 pm ish est. We did have a message pop up to ask us to do something because another member was in another instance, but we all canceled it and no one was in another instance. We were all together. In the past, we have restarted races for those who didn’t get over the first time and found those people didn’t receive credit if we restarted the mission. This time we did the 30 minute time limit so we could get everyone over in one try.

I know this is not went wrong post but hopefully this helps figure out where the breakdown is with how we handled it. For once, every guildie got credit for a race!
