On sunday my guild was doing guild missions. We are a very large guild, and had 50+ people doing them.
First we did guild bounties, and we got tricksy. We found tricksy, but when we talked to it to activate it (clicked the crossed swords text option), it disappeared, leaving two destructible barrels in it’s place. All 50 of us scoured the map trying to find it again. Needless to say, we failed this particular bounty hunt.
Then we did guild rush. We had 50+ people complete the rush (the bear one in lornar’s pass). The UI tracker clearly stated 15/15 completed. A little while later we were in wvw and we get a message saying guild rush failed, and we did not receive any guild merits.
Double fail.

Tricksy the one in Blazeridge Steppes?

Also – if no one stayed to do the guild rush, it probably reset the event. I believe you need to wait until the timer ends (so you have to remain there while it does it).

But yeah – buggy guild missions make unhappy guilds.

We have never waited around the 30min until the rush timer was finished, and this was our 5th or 7th rush.
And by tricksy I think I meant Sotzz whichever is in the barrels and is a kitten to find

Our guild has also been having multiple “bugs” in guild missions, which is very unfortunate since you spend a lot of time and influence building these things.
Guild Trek has bugged out on us about 1/3 of the time by not allowing us to “activate” just one of the locations so we end up with 14/15 at the end.
Guild Rush has been failing to complete when we have 15/15 as stated above. Happened to us last night actually.
If these weren’t required to open other missions type and take so long to build it wouldn’t be such an issue, but when you spend days building all of these missions, get the participation to actually complete them in time and successfully complete them, it is disheartening to have them fail. Anet needs to fix these types of issues quicker than they have in the past.
