Guild Name Changed
They can’t make filters for all the possible misspellings of offensive words.
If you wish to dispute the actions taken by the CS Team, you can submit a ticket, and discuss the issue with them. Though, they will, when such offensive names and tags are reported, action an account in accordance with the ToS each player agreed to before commencing play.
Good luck.
I use this name since the release of GW2 and somehow I had not bothered anyone, and suddenly she started to bother anyone? Do not agree to such a name as is now, I should get some information before the change : / Big Minus ANet. I want someone with an official position on this matter ANet
Someone finally took offense to your offensive guild name and reported you. Deal with it.

After spending many years working with children and young adults that are mentally challenged—-I find you guild name very offensive. If I had seen it, I would have reported it also.
Dear ANet,
Yesterday I noticed that my guild name has been changed. We called the Reterdz [TARD], and is now called the Startz [STRT] I do not know what’s going on? If it is a bug, please repair it, and if it was a deliberate action that I would ask for such information before the change is made. If the name does not fit you, you had to apply a filter to create a guild, and not after the fact inconvenient for you are changing the name. It’s not Fair, I feel cheated. I hope that someone will take a position on this matter. Thank you and best regards
Anet did take a position on this matter, they changed the guild name because it was blatantly offensive. Glad the name was changed. You knew it was going to happen.

Consider yourself lucky. They used to disband guilds with names that were against TOS, not rename them. Those people lost everything. You only lost a name.
As to ANet’s official position: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-naming-policy/
“We do not permit names that:
Have offensive racial, ethnic, national, or cultural connotations”
In the English language, your guild’s name has an offensive cultural connotation because one of its meanings is an insult word referring to people of lower intelligence. For that reason, your guild’s name was against TOS and was changed once reported.

As was already said, someone probably finally took offense to the name (which is indeed offensive to many English-speaking people) and reported it. Anet then stepped in and changed the guild’s name.

Thank you for the explanation, finally some sort of constructive and honest answer.
If I have a last request in this topic, i would ask about changing the name of my guild plzz on IX Kompania [IXK], we have invested a lot of time to get Influrence, so create a new guild is pointless. I spoke with members of my guild and renamed by ANet is not acceptable. I should write the ticket or ANet will be so kind as to do a little change plz?
Thx
You won’t get a rename from the forum. The people who do that are reading tickets, not here. You can update your original ticket and ask them, but don’t get your hopes up. In general their policy is, if someone makes a guild name that they feel has broken TOS they don’t get a second chance (unless they make a brand new guild).
