Issue: Wont let me represent or access guild stash in Lions Arch (See below & 2nd post for more information)

Other: Currently in 4 guilds, 2 of which I am a leader in.
Other 2 guilds I am just a member of.

I cannot represent 2 guilds that I am leader of, I have tried everything possible to represent them by

Changing maps, changing characters, clearing temp cache, deleting local.dat, repair, defrag, closing game, restarting PC…..everything and the issue is still happening.

Yet, with all of this, I can represent the other 2 guilds that I am a member of (not leader).

Reproduce:

Create 2 guilds, both that you are leader of, and then join another 2 guilds (4 guilds total) which you are not a leader of but just a regular member.

Info: Issue has started on 21st July 2013 @ 1300 UTC for me, first time it has happened.

I have also asked around and others are getting similar issues to my own (but has fixed itself for them)

Hopefully this will help resolve the issue, I will keep testing and add more information if anything arises.

Made a 5th guild to test if I can represent (named “Trying to rep my guild (TRY)”) and I can seem to represent that with no problems at all, with all my characters, but still cannot represent my 2 main guilds in which I am ranked Leader.

Quick Update:

I cannot represent the 2 guilds I am leader of In Lions Arch, however switching to divinity reach seems to let me represent both.

I also was able to represent both in the instance “Eye of the north”, went back into Lions Arch and attempted to access the guild bank.

Needless to say, the NPC said I must be in a guild to access it (I was representing my own guild at this time) – Porting over into Divinitys Reach has let me access the guild bank with ease.

Seems to be a problem in Lions Arch.

Edit: Divinity’s Reach didn’t work for me so I tried going to The Grove, my toon’s native city, which let me rep and access the guild bank.

La typically causes issues with guild stuff. Half the time, you don’t even get the login influence if you are there, even if NOT in overflow. I try to avoid LA as much as possible for these reasons.

Issue is still the same within Lions Arch.

Server: Stormbluff Isle

Same issue, could not access guild bank. I stood down, but then I couldn’t represent again. Tried in LA and Divinity Reach after logging off/on. Returned to myAsuran home world and was able to represent again. Can now access guild bank in LA as well. Going to try on other toons on my account, at least one other is getting the “Must join a guild” when trying to access the guild bank.

UPDATE: Logoff and back on and can’t access guild bank again.

Patch resolved the Issue.

I have most of my characters standing in divinity’s reach and since today none of them is able to represent my own guild or access the guild stash. I’ve noticed issues with the earning of influence as well. Most of the times when I log in it says influence was added but the number remains unchanged.

Edit:
Apparently I can’t represent the guild in which I’m officer in either. The only thing I seem able to do is to stand down from the guild I’m a member of and represent it again.

This bug seems to only affect you when you’re standing in a city. Try going out to an explorable area such as Queensdale, Gendarren Fields, Bloodtide Coast, etc, and then try to represent your guild again.

That didn’t work for me either, I tried going into an instance so I was alone, I tried going into an explorable area, nothing worked. But it seems that after the patch from a few hours ago it’s working again.

I’m in Ebonhawke in the Fields of Ruin atm and cannot represent my guild or access the guild bank. Have not tested it on other chars but my new engineer cannot represent the guild.

Tied into this problem is that as the engineer I cannot activate guild upgrades even though I am co-leader of the guild with all ranks and privileges.

Edit: When I went to DR, I was able to represent the guild and activate upgrades.

This is happening again for me too. I last had this problem around 6-8 weeks ago. Since yesterday I’ve had to go into WvWvW to switch guilds. I also had to use a WvWvW NPC at one point since the city guild bankers insisted that I wasn’t repping ANY guild let alone the correct one.

Also impacted were guild missions where I could not activate queued missions and had to invite a friend into my personal guild to kick things off.

Dropping to character select doesn’t fix the problem. Fully closing and restarting the game via the launcher has no positive effect either.

Cannot access guild bank on 2 of my guilds. Also Treasure Trove upgrade I had in progress got cancelled, wasting 5k influence.

It’s fine now.

The guild problem seems to have been fixed for me, but it is now affecting a guildie of mine. The game insists he is not in the guild even though when I check the guild screen he is in the guild, but shows as offline. When I right click his portrait, it shows that I can invite him.

Edit: Tried re-inviting him to the guild and it worked, oddly. He is now back in the guild and able to do all the guild things as before. Very odd, since no one kicked him in the first place.
