Guild Wars 2

We had 1 gold stolen from our guild bank, and the log for that withdraw says it was by “Unknown User”. So this is a bit frightening. Not only that, but there are only 4 people in our guild with permissions to withdraw, and it was not one of us. Something tells me that somehow, someone that is no longer in the guild managed to take it and when they left it marks them as being unknown in the log. Please look into this as this is a huge security breach. We have to purge the guild of anyone thats not a personal friend if just anyone can join and take stuff, ignoring permissions.

I would like to know who took the money so we can either be certain it wasn’t a personal friend with permission, or its someone that we would like banned over the issue.

No one but personal friends ever had permission for the guild bank. Either way, they stole a gold. Clearly no one would ever put money in the guild bank to be taken by anyone. Its obviously there to save up for something. Even if they were given permission, the fact that they took it then left is stealing. I know ANet can’t get it back, but I still want to know who took it so we can attempt to talk to them to get it back or have them banned for stealing, which is as you know against the rules.

The transaction log is there for a reason. If people were not supposed to be reported for taking advantage of “free stuff” they had access to, why would they have a log in the first place?
