Ok, maybe this should be a feature, but i don’t understand the reason, and it annoys me more and more.
I switch characters very often when i go harvesting, and always the guild chat disappears while everything else stays, even zone chat if you relog in other zones or switch servers and the worst, even whispers from Goldspammers that you have put on ignore.
It gets really bad if you got a whisper from a Goldspammer, then the Guildchat makes that invisible after some lines, and as soon as you relog .. bammm .. you see the spam again.
If that is a “feature” i would at least see an option so that i can disable it.

It probably has something to do with each character being able to rep a different guild. With the number of bugs out there in the actual core game mechanics and class skills/traits, I doubt this will ever get changed.
