Guild Wars 2

So I left my old guild yesterday and joined a new one. When I joined the new one I was unable to get guild chat to work properly. There is currently a work around for this that involves opening your contacts window and changing your stats to ‘invisible’ and changing back to ‘online.’

This fix did NOT work for me. I was shuffling through my four personal guild banks and out of nowhere I start seeing text and started thinking WTH!? I quickly came to the conclusion while I was repping my guild called ‘Alisons Second Vault’ I could use guild chat to talk to people in the guild ‘Love And War [LAW]’ (the guild I most recently joined).

Effectively the guild roosters show I am repping my personal guild ‘Alisons Second Vault [Alis]’ and and using the guild chat of ‘Love And War [LAW]’ at the same time. The [LAW] roster shows (to me and others) that I am NOT repping the guild yet still able to talk to them.

If I rep [LAW] I am completely unable to use guild chat.

I changed zones and I am now no longer able to talk with the people in guild chat again, is not affected by which guild I’m repping.

I’ve been trying to shuffle between my guilds to recreate the event but currently can not duplicate it.

One of my friends had this happen today too. She was stacking upgrades in her bank guild and she was still able to read and talk in a separate guild chat even though she wasn’t reping it. None of us nor she could replicate it.
