Guild halls block squads
Yea, my guild tried to gather too and faced the same problem.
We were playing Asuraball, but only some minutes before the map closed, no matter what.
Wouldn’t be that bad if all players would land on the same /ip.
Yeah, it gets frustrating when you want your entire guild together to play with the arena and you can only get one full team there… >.<
From my understanding with the way GHalls work is that, you start with a small instance and then move progressively to a larger and larger instance until the instance supports your entire group. Be patient and use one person as an anchor to taxi in the group(s) until you are all on one instance.

Atros, I know how that system works 5-6 people have a small gh-instance.
The seventh player joining gets his own instance and the 5-6 ppl in the small instance the prompt to leave since instance is closing in 5 minutes.
Numbers aren’t 100%.
In the past, this system worked flawless. Everyone in the small instance (/ip1) got their prompt, clicked on “Leave” and got into the same new map (the bigger one – let’s call it /ip2).
There was no need for an anchor.
But now: You enter guild hall with seven people. It’s okay to get a prompt, since loading times are different and one would assume, once you leave /ip1 you will end up in the same instance as the ones, that joined last – aka /ip2.
But of seven players 3 land on /ip2 and others on others than 1 or 2 (maybe /ipx).
We tried a slow attempt. I went in, and I told everyone to come one by one.
It worked, we were seven players.
After some seconds of gathering, the prompt came. When we gave it a try: different /ip for the squad.
I hope this is clear enough – and I hope it’ll be fixed – since it makes it impossible to use guild arena longer than 5,5 minutes.

Happening to my guild too. Keeps popping the map change even when no one’s coming or going. The way this works has always been annoying, but since this last patch it makes the guild hall nearly unusable.

We are having the same issue; however, it isn’t squad related. The issue lies within the instance generation of the guild hall and seems to be currently bugged. We had a guild event this weekend and when multiple members of my guild joined the guild hall, the first instance was created as normal; however, as more people came in rapidly, it would prompt those already in the instance to change( as normal) BUT another window would pop up making another instance after that. This caused what seemed to be multiple main instances to be created. Some people would get the prompt, but would get either nothing to happen OR it would give an error message saying “Already in game”. When trying to leave and come back, we were forced into whatever “main” instance our characters seemed to be assigned to. It didn’t seem like any of the these instances timed out either unless everyone left the guild hall.
To go around this issue, I had to have my guild members enter the hall one at a time. If a new instance was generated, I didn’t have anyone else come in until those currently in the guild hall went to the new instance. This seemed to work and the process was repeated until everyone was in the same instance.
This process took a good chunk of 20min to 30min of our party time or so just to figure this out and then go through the process of doing it. Our guild hall is the Gilded Hollow, if that helps.
In general, if we were allowed to have a “join X” for guild hall instances, that would help a lot. Also, allowing more people in an instance before creating a new one would be nice…. At least 10. Trying to do a party for 25 to 30 people and having constant instances generated is very annoying.
My guild has also been having this problem for the past 4-5 days or so. Every time we get more than five people in our guild hall, the map keeps trying to shuffle us all to a new map instance constantly. It’s been an extremely annoying problem considering how often we use it!
