Q:

Hi,

My guild transferred servers to Dragonbranch but in the guild player list, it showed them as being on Maguuma. Therefore, I transferred to Maguuma, but it turns out they did transfer to Dragonbranch and my guild list was incorrect. Even more interesting, even though they show as being on Maguuma, when they enter WvW they are in Dragonbranch. Another interesting thing is, even though I am in Maguuma, the guild list shows other people as in ‘Maguuma’ instead of showing me where they are in the world, as though ‘Maguuma’ is a different server than I am currently on. How can I get this resolved?

At least server transfers are free every 7 real days. I can understand how this is frustrating. Did you report this issue to ArenaNet? There should be an in-game bug reporting feature available to use, built into the client.

Intel Core i7 4790K @4.7 GHz, 32 GB 2133 MHz DDR3.
MSI GTX 1080 Sea Hawk EK X 2xSLI 2025 / 11016 MHz, liquid cooling custom loop.
Samsung 850 Evo 500 GB. HTC Vive.

This has been happening for a long time they haven’t fixed this still and it doesn’t seem to be on the top of their priority list.

Just switch back when your time is up and you can switch. Ignore it and make sure everyone moves to Dragonbrand.

I did submit a bug in game (actually two, since I didn’t fully understand what was going on when I submitted the first one). I realize I can transfer servers in another 7 days but am surprised as you mentioned that this is an existing and known issue. I guess if the same resources that are fixing quest bugs would be fixing this issue, I understand the lower priority.

Would be nice to have an official response from GW team indicating that this is a known issue and then add it to some sort of FAQ.
