Our guild members were separated during Guild Missions because of Megaserver, we were separated into two instances of one map several times today during Guild Missions.

We had about 40 people doing the missions and finding out who got into different map than the rest was tricky at first because they didn’t get any Overflow notification. They were just put into different map.

It happened in these maps:

  • Fields of Ruin
  • Diessa Plateau
  • Snowden drifts (I know it’s not included here, but people got thrown into different map without any overflow message)
  • Dredgehaunt Cliffs

Could people from the same guild (if representing) be put into same map over any other priority please?

Snowden, Malchor, and a few others aren’t supposed to be ‘megaserver’ but in some ways they are acting as such.

This is one of the more serious issues with Megaserver, and the problem will only get worse, not better. With megaserver, there is no ‘overflow’ so no notification will occur. I don’t want a notification every time I go in a map, it’s annoying. However, separating a guild doing missions is serious. Just an inconvenience on some, but for bounties? It can cause it to fail.

As far as I’ve seen, there is little preference, if any, given to keeping a guild together, and not much more given to party. I’ve seen almost every person in the party split into different versions of a map.

Until they give us some sort of actual fix, Someone will have to be designated as chauffeur and everyone join on them. It’s ridiculous.
