Guild Wars 2

This has only happened to me three times and each was during PvP. I would be mid match or loading into a match and I’d have the crash pop up box asking me if I’d like to send the error report to anet (not that they give you the option not to). Normally when this happens your game has locked up, stopped responding, or completely closed out.

When I get this pop up box the game still plays normally and I can continue to play the game as if nothing has happened other than the fact I have this annoying pop up window sitting on my screen and the best I can do is drag it off to the side and restart the client after the match.

Normally I’d just ignore something like this but twice it poped up right in the middle of my screen mid fight in pvp and caused me to lose both fights as it forces focus from the game to the pop up window and then I have to move the box out of the way just to see what is going on.

Edit: Just want to point out, this error message pop up window is set to always sit on top of your gw2 window so it is rather obtrusive.

Well, it stays on top because it’s supposed to open when the game crashed or stopped responding, but there are cases where it shows up but the game keeps running however closing the error report will close the game.

Could you post what error is it? Usually the 2nd line in the details box will tell what happened. The only case I can think of that would keep the game running is audio issues, because it seems to be ran in a different thread.

Also, if it’s constant for you and nobody else seems to have the issue, it could be good for you to contact Customer Support, maybe they can help in your case.
