Guild Wars 2

Today i wake up, and go play some guild wars 2 before going to work ey. I see that i have not done the items for the hope collection in Dragons Stand, so i quickly get in a map and go with it, after killing the axemaster 2 times while pushing the events, no axemaster core, after killing him again in the blightning tower, nothing, and after killing stavemaster in the champions phase in the last fight, well you guessed it, nothing! Altho the mordremoth core i did get in the final chest, screen shot near the chest. Fix it.

I can confirm this. I’m unsure if this is intentional RNG, or if it is a bug. I was able to loot the Blademaster’s Core on my second try, but I was unable to loot the Axemaster’s Core just now. I am going to attempt the Stavemaster’s Core right now. I was able to loot Mordremoth’s Core on the first try.

I got all the cores the first try. Not sure what’s happening but they ARE doable. Granted, they should mention that they are “loot” based (which I think is akin to RNG).

What they really need to optimize is god kitten GERENT so we can get on with our collections…but that’s a separate point entirely.

killed Karka Queen 3 times now no loot, killed bosses at Dragon stand several times too no loot. killed Arrowhead 3 times now no loot. Its bugged big time.

For Karka Queen i used the dwarven trap when her armor is removed on my 3rd attempt , other said you have to be first to hit to get credit for tagging as she scale up every time someone join the fight and it’s harder to get credit if your too late, maybe it’s true because for the 3rd fight i was in the first.

For Dragon’s Stand it bugged for me the first time as i tried to tag two boss in one run so i decided to do them one by one and it worked i received my cores each time at the end of the event when the 3 bosses are downed (and don’t forget the incomplete catalytic converter has to be in your inventory) .

For the arrowhead you have to kill the one not from the hero point but the one from the event when you follow the skritt (the event to activate pylone).

still no drop from 3 bosses from dragon’s stand. Kill same one 3 times in same lane and nothing drop.

7 months on and this is still an issue. Just killed the Stavemaster both on approach to the tower and inside the tower. No core.

Both of the other cores dropped first time for me, but no luck with Stavemaster.

I’ve been troubleshooting HOPE issues for a couple of months now, and this is the first time I’ve heard of this problem with getting cores.

Cores can only be obtained from the fight at the Blighting Towers. The encounters during the approach and during the final fight with Mordremoth will not give cores. Cores are awarded once all the masters are dead. It seems you are managing this, though. Having the converter on-hand is supposedly optional. Can you think of any reason why you might not have been given the stavemaster core this time but you got the other two?

Same here. Just killed the boss at central tower. After all 3 bosses went down, no core.
