It appears that I’ve collected all ancient magics, but it’s not charging for some reason. When I double click on the spell trap, I only get the buff to collect more magic.

Try putting the Spell Trap and all three ancient magics in your inventory and then double-click one of the ancient magics. I believe this is how I got it to work.

Are the 3 ancient magics supposed to be items? If so, I never received them in item form and Hobbs doesn’t have anything to give me either.

yes ancient magics are items, have you checked your bank and all your character bags ? maybe try to get the magics again if it don’t work go see support team

Yeah I went through my character bags and my bank tabs. I tried checking with Hobbs on another character and he has all the collection items to offer, except for the ancient magics.

Trying to gather the magics again doesn’t seem to work. They don’t seem to drop the magic when I have the spell trap buff on.

I think my mistake was doing this part with a nearly full inventory, so maybe that’s why they never appeared in my inventory. Wish there was some way to obtain them again though.

Anet needs to fix this! I can’t continue with a skin I invested heavily in , with gold and time. -only to have it stopped by this bug.

Yea same. I deleted the dwarven spell trap and asked ogden for a new one and tried it on the fleshreaver in fireheart rise. Nothing.

Yep definitely just tried the same thing in a last ditch effort and nothing. wouldn’t be so bad if this was not the very last thing stopping me from getting that wonderful new legendary. guess its just gonna be a waiting game from here.

Status update on this? It’s been nearly a month.

bumping this, here’s my screenshot. The only actual item I ever received for this was from karka. Apparently it can be completed because I have seen the weapon ingame, but not for me evidently.

Also, branded devourer queen is still reliably bugged

I’m having the same issue… The magic orbs aren’t dropping from the Fleshreaver or the Fleshgrazer, only the Karka Queen drops an item. Can’t create a Charged Dwarven Spelltrap without them.

Has there been any word of a fix for this? I sent a ticket to support but I’ve heard they don’t always grant you the items. Yet I see some players with the legendary… Hm.
