yesterday i did 4 halloween meta events and 4 halloween dailies, left with a meta score of 8/12.

Today I did another meta and 3 halloween dailies and still at 8/12

I’ve come to two possible conclusions:

1) Dailies and metas are not counting up correctly since the last patch
or
2) Dailies were incorrectly counting up for each one yesterday and they were intended to only count for the overall completion (like the way they do for monthlies). This being corrected in the last patch, and there was no reduction in meta points (which would probably be a nightmare to do fairly and safely).

Both would make the math work out, just wondering if anyone else is seeing this, and if so, exactly what are we looking at so we can /bug it, or if we need to. Kind of hard to say something is broke if you don’t know how it is supposed to work.

It’s possible to get I just got it, but I only have like 10 check marks. Just look to see what has a check mark next to it and what doesn’t. I know I got some yesterday and some before reset yesterday.

Well I know that the math doesn’t add up unless something has changed.

I have 5 halloween meta achievements.

I have completed 7 halloween dailies total, or two days worth.

If the dailies counted for each one, as they were doing yesterday, I should have 12/12.

If the dailies only count one point for finishing 3+ each day, as this has only been live for two days, the most i should have is 7/12.

I suspect it was messed up and giving too many points yesterday and now some funky reconciliation math is going on behind the scenes and not awarding points for whatever reason. Which at this time I am not complaining, I am ahead of where I should be if that is the case.

I just wanted to post this and see what others are encountering. If some are seeing something similar it might confirm either a bug that needs reporting or a fix that occurred and needs noteriety so people understand what is going on.

Yes, that may be what happened, as I have 10/12 total, and only 5 of the Meta requirements finished, so far.

Unless, something else is giving points toward the Meta. It was all rather confusing and hectic that first day. I didn’t really even look at Achievements until the second day or so, and I don’t even know if I got the Daily that first day, as the patch was released so close to reset.

I’m also stuck at 8/12 of the meta. Not sure if it’s bugged but I don’t seem to be getting any more points towards the meta – especially from my Halloween dailies. technically I should have already finished the meta cause I’ve done 5 Halloween dailies today, completed 6 of the bloody prince meta achievements, and did at least 3 Halloween dailies yesterday, so that should bring me up to 14/12, but instead it’s 8/12.

I had this issue today also. Prior to completing events, my counter was 6/12. I then completed the Halloween Daily Achievements 3/3, the counter remained at 6/12. Then I completed the You, Back in the Box Achievement…counter remained at 6/12. So, um…..yeah…. I don’t know if I should stop wasting time doing these if it will be stuck at 6/12.

I think that repeat dailies do not count. If you did the “carve five pumpkins” yesterday and then do it again today it will not count. But if you do one that you have not already done once it counts as and achievement – at least that seemed to be the way it worked for me.

OMG I think you nailed it. Maybe never bugged at all. Got to go check that with an untouched daily and see.

Tested and confirmed. This is exactly what it is, shout out to barnabas!

Well that isn’t it either. Whether something counts is hit or miss. I just did a meta and it didn’t count, along with another daily which didn’t count.

I now have 9/12

I have 6 metas; I have completed 9 halloween dailies, 5 unique. I’ve gotten the daily chest only twice of course.

So I see no way it should show 9/12. But what do I say is bugged?

I also had 2 festival achievements not count towards the meta today – I completed You, Back in the Box and Upset Stomach and my count for the meta did not budge from 10/12.

@Myss: Back in the Box, Upset Stomach and the other story-related achievement do not count towards the meta-achievement. (No idea why, but there it is.) Neither does the Lunatic Inquisition achievement.

I’m stuck at 11 out of 12 with 8 meta achieves and 10+ from dailies. I’m not sure if the dailies need to be unique though, they haven’t been in the past have they?

As far as I can see, only unique dailies count, repeat dailies do not. The story achievements from the second instance (Back in the Box, Beaten Bloody and Upset Stomach) do not count for the meta. I’m not sure about the first instance (Containment). The repeatable achievement from Lunatic Inquisition, like basically all repeatable achievements, also does not count for the meta.

But Im also stuck at 11/12 and even regular festival achievements for example Back In The Box didnt count as the 12th. The issue runs deeper than dailies…

To sum up:
Story achievements (Containment, Back in the Box, Beaten Bloody and Upset Stomach) do NOT count.
Lunatic Inquisition Regular does NOT count.
Again doing the same Halloween daily that you already did on a previous day does NOT count.

Doing each Halloween daily for the first time DOES count.
All Blood and Madness achievements besides Containment, Back in the Box, Beaten Bloody, Upset Stomach and Lunatic Inquisition Regular DO count. That means Candy Corn Crusher, Death to the Undying, Bonebreaker, Something Good to Eat, A Royal Tradition, Stomping Good Time, Pumpkin Carving and Shut the Doors. (Did I forget anything?)

If that is intended its really a bad step backwards from when we got the dailys to help us finishing the meta events. Especially since the labyrinth maps so often are now empty
and i have no intend to farm there for endless hours.

I’ve had some issues with this as well.

I’ve completed 10 of the achievements under the meta category. I’ve also done the daily halloween achievements – I believe you have to complete at least 3 of them in the daily category to get it to count for the meta.

Still at 10/12. Was at 10/12 yesterday, did the upset stomach and under 1 min achievements and still at 10/12.

Fixed in the latest patch…yay!

Not actually fixed, just got some achievements and still at 6/12, which is where I was yesterday.

Despite the patch notes, still no meta progress after completing my halloween dailies for today.

Still seems broken.

I am still having this issue. I have completed 2/12 meta events. I have done the halloween dailies at least 7 days, maybe more and I am still only 5/12 in the meta chain. Is anyone else still having this problem? Yesterday I did dailies before reset and right after reset and neither increased my meta progress. I had been completing the halloween dailies on different characters, but the last 4-5 have all been completed by the same character.

It seems only the first time you complete each individual Halloween Daily requirement (not the set of 3), will you be rewarded any completion toward the Meta. Otherwise, you must complete other parts of the Meta, which aren’t too difficult.
