I know any ground objects such as destroyable tunnels, mortar, etc I have a very hard time hitting close range even with a gun for that matter. 1 of 3 attacks are misses close range and far range saying most of the attacks are obstructed or misses again. Seems to me you need to find this perfect stop and everything works. Anyone else have this problem?

Had that problem destroying some catapults with my warrior. Was using close range weapons and tried every angle possible from the ground, all I got was several misses.
Then I thought that the hitbox of the object was like in the center so I jumped to the catapult and started attacking around it.
The conclusion was: I can only attack it from the back and on top of it; the center must be a small squared hitbox

Yea noticed that to attacking while standing on it seems to work for awhile I thought it was just me lol.

necro with staff have a hard time too
obstructed a lot… crucial in fight like AC explore where you have to destroy burrow

I always find it near impossible to destroy stationary destructible objects with my warrior. It’s absolutely irritating. Most of the time I have to wait for someone else to come by to destroy it.

I have found that constantly staying on the move while attacking makes my hits actually hit more often but it’s still hit or miss.

It makes my skills that have multiple strikes (whirlwind axe for example) completely useless against these objects. Also, the fact that these objects do not register critical damage is even more so infuriating.

this has to be bugged, i can’t imagine it’s working as intended. i’m surprised so few people are talking about this and i’m surprised it’s still not fixed. it’s a pretty big deal in ac explorable, for example.
or is there another thread about this?
