I’ve been holding off on completing my personal story, since a lot of people said that the exotic loot bags it rewards you only give low level blue/green items (like lvl 14 blues and such). I’d really like to complete it, but as long as I don’t know if this is intended or not from an official source, I’m still left with no story completion.

I think that is still the case. It sucks to finish your epic story at level 80 and get level 20 blue gear, and I’m sure when they fix this (if they ever get to it, or if it is indeed a bug) those of us who got crap loot won’t get anything back.

I’d recommend not to finish the story until they at least acknowledge it for your own sake.

thanks, that’s what I’m doing, but I’m worried by the fact that they haven’t said ANYTHING about this issue, and it’s making me think that it may be intended.

I can confirm that it has NOT been fixed.. i was holding off on it and in Chat somebody said that it had been fixed.

5 x lvl 26 or so blues… makes me a sad monkey.

It was acknowledged as a known issue in an earlier post.

Best thing to do is just keep your fingers crossed and keep this post near the top, waiting for a ANET person to let us know.

Well bump then for any kind of acknowledgement about what is being done to fix this and if there will be retroactive rewards. Missing out on 5 high level exotics is kind of a big deal to many of us, but a fix would be welcome at least.

Add me to the list of people that can confirm that its still not fixed (Sept. 14, 2012). I was unaware of this issue, and to my surprise I received multiple blue items which sadly then got sold to a vendor.

Nowere near 80 or end PS, but i do hope they fix it for you all soon, getting low level not even rare junk at 80 is not realy they way it should be. One bump from me!

This is really annoying, I thought it was fixed and opened them the other day., got utter crap (level 20, 40, 50 stuff Greens&Blues). Really hope Anet just give all players who completed story and opened them a replacement otherwise I’d be very disappointed

Should be fairly easy to track too, as the lot bags were unique.

I was sokitten when i saw rewords from completing whole story, i shure hope when they fix it we will ALL get that 5loot chest in our inventory or at least a chance to redo last story quest. i cant imagine how much rage anet will get if they fix this and ignore players allready finished ps.

Just wondering if this has been fixed before I do the quest?
