Guild Wars 2

I have recently caught the Guild Wars fever and wanted to revisit, but the downloader seems to dislike me. At random spurts, mostly within 10 minutes, the downloader will just stop working and an error message will pop up. I have tried restarting my computer and reinstalling a new installer, but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated because I want to enjoy Guild Wars 2 once again!

close HideMyIP and retry the download. that is what is stopping you from downloading

I never had it opened during my download, but I uninstalled it anyways. Here’s to hoping that this will fix it!

I didn’t get any errors but downloading process is very-very slow and freeze time to time

Well, it hasn’t stopped downloading since I uninstalled hidemyip. On top of that, I decided that I should update my graphics drivers, which could also be a possible solution to my problem. The download has been going for an hour without failure!

I’ve been having this issue as well. Unfortunately, the freeze/crash seems to be random for me. I managed to download the client to the minimum playable, uninterrupted,but the launcher freezes at random intervals afterwards. Sometimes it lasts a minute or less, other times it lasts 30 minutes.

Either uninstalling hidemyip or updating my graphics drivers fixed my situation.
