I’m experiencing really sever Out Of Memory crashes while in-game, as soon as i enter into moderate-to-heavily populated areas (either by AI or actual other players) i crash immediately as i come out of the loading screen, i can’t even play the Prologue story or access ANY of the new maps because of these very bad crashes. Been a long time GW2 player and was/am very excited to play through the story (been avoiding spoilers like the plague) but now i can’t because of these problems.

Is there any ETA on a fix or some way that i can temporarily fix this problem just so that i can play the game? I’ve tried everything from terminating other processes that take up a “large” amount of RAM to increasing my virtual memory to running in Administrator mode.

Just a little note: I’m on Windows 8 32bit client with 4GB of RAM, so 64bit client isn’t an option for me,

6x out of 10 i get crashed after AB meta event, getting random dc in pvp + gw2.exe prevents me to get in till i swap my ip… And this is like 2 years old problem occuring not only on my pc

I wish i could even get into AB, as i said i can barely map to Silverwastes without crashing instantly (Hidden Depths waypoint atleast allows me some time to run towards Prologue start)

You might consider upgrading to a 64-bit Windows OS, as well as installing more RAM. You may be able to upgrade at no cost with your current key. Many have.

This would allow you to use more RAM, and possibly alleviate the Out Of Memory errors.
