Can’t you see the problem ?

I think that the preview for the hellfire helm just doesn’t display it properly. Expect your ears to be chopped off while wearing the actual helmet in-game.

I become more and more disgusted at the lack of effort put into armor items with each picture I see of charr and asura. Why even offer races with non-human features if you’re just going to ignore them when designing armor by removing them completely or just letting them clip right through?

Charr:

• Horns – chopped off
• Ears – chopped off
• No holes for tails (some armor are designed around the tail, we know you can do it Anet, stop being lazy)
• Foreclaws removed sometimes, other times they simply poke through the boot
• Front claws simply poke through the boot (charr don’t even wear boots, give them a belt instead)
• Identical appearance for male and female – Citing different sexually arousing areas of anatomy with their species than humans is just a lazy excuse to save having to make an alternate version. “They don’t have bulbous breasts, no need to offer them a different design for females”

Asura:

• Ears – chopped off
• Side toes – chopped off/crammed into the boot (some boots are designed around the toes, we know you can do it Anet, stop being lazy)
• Identical appearance for male and female – Citing different sexually arousing areas of anatomy with their species than humans is just a lazy excuse to save having to make an alternate version. “They don’t have bulbous breasts, no need to offer them a different design for females”

I had a charr…once.
The above mentioned lack of any kind of attention given to non-human, species specific armor design led to my not having one anymore, sadly.

I have an asura…
Having my ears chopped off by any kind of helmet and them being replaced with bright red discs that I can still see is not my idea of non-human, species specific armor of a level of quality expected from a “professional” AAA game studio.
