Here is the bug, the Warhounds in the heart “Help Kennelmaster Warsnout” in the Iron Marches map seems buggy. They start tracking and end up froze at some place doing the same action repeatedly. Therefore separatists rarely spawn making the heart really long to complete. I experienced this bug on Fort Aspenwood America.

Same on Underworld (EU) also the event is bugged and nothing is spawning in the bandit camp. Nightmare, only way to get heart progress is to release a hound ><

There is an occasional event that triggers (when the event itself is not broken) that involves two old Charr hunting down a bunch of separatists. You’ll get spawns that way, and they’ll eventually lead you to a separatist camp, northeast of the heart vendor.

I don’t know if the camp is open at all times, or only during that event.

Same bug on Ring of Fire EU, there is also an even going on that is bugged in the cavern bellow that scruffy takes you to, I’m assuming there should be separatists here to kill to but there aren’t, probably because of the event that is just stuck standing? Either way, the two standing underneither in the cavern is bugged also =P

I found a way do complete…

Some trees have separatists up there, you need to punch this trees to make then fall down…

But this trees dont have HP Bar, so you need to punch then with melee weapons…

you will know who is the correct tree when it you complete the autoattack combo (but you need to press the 1 the three times to combo be completed).

Sometimes 2 ou 3 separatis will fall down… sometimes you will receive exp (aparently you killed him up the tree).

That was my way to complete this heart.

I encountered a bug today where it would not let me release another hound after the original returned. Guesting let me get around this.

Since the thread has already been necro’d. I’m not sure if it’s related, but I noticed that doing this on my thief, my shortbow was occasionally targeting a seperatist training dummy under the ground after the guys fell out of the tree. Alternatively you have to go out and come back in to release a 2nd hound after the first returns.
