Guild Wars 2

I had just finished the Vizir’s tower jp, I opened the chest, the misteryous grubby package came out. When I opened it I found just a Wrecked Wintersday Ornament and NO Gold Ball Ornament. The chest that had spawned was an Asuran one.
So I did the Antre of Adjournment jp and there was an Orrian Grand Chest at the end but when I opened it, it gave me no Mysterious Grubby Package.
Now I don’t know how to complete my collection.

Not a bug. The chest is not an “Orrian” chest, so it will not drop the MGP for the gold ornament. The only chest in Orr that definitely drops it is in the Buried Archives jp. And that chest is not guaranteed to even be present (as in, I have done the JP on 6 different instances and NEVER seen the chest available!)

Not every chest that drops an Ornament will drop a whole one, sometimes you only get a wrecked one. Sometimes, you get neither. It is random, though the drop-rate is rather high. Many different locations of chests will drop Ornaments, whole and/or wrecked. It isn’t only JP chests. I got one from the little chest in Wayfarer’s at Wurmhowl Spikes.
