Seeing as there is no option to report bots in game (or nothing specific to it) i figured i’d just post this here. Apologies if this is not the right spot.

Sea of Sorrows is quickly being overrun by botters in starting zones, especially the human area’s. Teleporting to nodes, camping and zerging events as they happen etc etc.

The largest problem is the events though, they target and kill mobs be4 u get a chance to set up/get some damage in which makes it tough on everyone else who are waiting for spawns to complete their quests and pay to play legitimately.

All those featured in this screenshot are botters (confirmed over a period of time), who have been camping this particular event/quest and teleport all over the place to kill mobs before others can get to them. Alot of people around are forced to either spend hours trying to complete their quests or skip them entirely and hope to come back another day.

Anet please do something about this its getting rediculous.

There is an in-game reporting feature. Select the player or players name in the chat window, right-click and select Report/Botting.

Also i saw speed hacking bots. Hello i run so fast that teleport on screen!

Im going to go report them now, pretty sure they will still be in the same spot…

Reporting them has no point. They don’t get banned at all. There’s so many botters in my fl that haven’t been banned at all.

Bots don’t get banned instantly, they get banned in waves. So it may take some time before the ones you have been seeing are removed.

They’ve been there since 1st of September…..
And by the time they get banned, the damage has been done.
Gold-sellers get their botted money and the auction house gets manipulated by them.

Send them a whisper. Nothing substantial.. a period mark will do

Also, if you’re standing in front of them.. just target them and right click their player name at the top of your UI. Chat window reporting isn’t necessary unless it’s a chat related issue

Taking a guardian through the leveling process again on Blackgate, and these teleporting bots are becoming an epidemic. They’re everywhere, and make the gaming experience feel cheap.

is Anet even banning the bots I’ve reported in game the same group of bots for 7 days now and there still there and its a grand total of 15 days, which leads me to believe Anet isn’t doing a thing…

its the weekend they are bbqing. trust me they say they care but they dont..but by the time they do this will be like AOC< and Warhammer.. going going gone. And WVW is a bigger mess then pve.
