Completing the Exposed Weakness achievement does not net me the achievement. The achievement requires getting the boss down from 75% to 0% in a set time- everyone else in the party is getting this bar me. I have completed it three times, by myself and then in two different parties, and a mixture of hosting or being in other people’s instances: but it’s the same, everyone else completes the achievement, but my golden achievement oval neither removes itself (as it would if I had failed) and neither do I pass the achievement. It’s certainly not me making a mistake or missing something: given the achievement relates to killing an enemy in a set time period, if everyone else in the party bar me gets it there’s no way this can be an issue with me making a mistake!

Further information: all the other golden achievement icons have a time limit (9hrs, X minutes) whilst the Exposed Weakness one has no time limit attached- once I pass the boss this relates to, the timer vanishes for that oval and does not restart if I hit the challenge redo mote.

Whilst I’ve submitted both a bug report and a support ticket nothing has come out of it (the latter told me to submit a bug report, which I’ve done already). I just want to highlight that myself and any other player in my position can’t complete the current Living Story achievement cycle without this being resolved.

Someone in my group had the same problem and we told him to at least attack the boss once next time (even though you only do 0 dmg). This got him the achievement, but I don’t know if it will work for you. Good luck!

Is anyone else seeing this problem? I got my achievement no problem, but we’ve run this 5 times and my wife still hasn’t been able to get it. She’kittenting the big guy, killing the little ones once they all have rings but to no avail. Other party members have gotten it every time we tried but she still doesn’t have it.

That should say ‘hitting’ the big guy.

If you’re doing the same achievement the OP is talking about, you don’t need to touch the big guy. You wait for the fragility field to drop, pick it up, run to a vortex, and let it remove the Fragility from you. Then you don’t kill it. Just leave it, and wait for another fragility field to run to another vortex. Repeat until they all have taken the Fragility debuff, and then kill them all as quickly as possible. The boss will go from full health to dead once you’re done killing them.

I just have experienced this, after trying the achievement 4 times, I read this and tried it, I hit the boss sometimes during the fight and in the end I got the achievement!
